KL, night and day
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Much too little time in such a large city, again 😦

We did get to see part of the botanical garden and the orchid garden.

We also spent some hours in the bird park said to be the biggest aviary in the world, very nice.

The hop-on-hop-off bus took us around the city, a very modern city core with lots of shopping.

The Central market had lots of nice bits to for us to spend a few $

Nice relaxing town
Georgetown, Malaysia

Georgetown, Malaysia

Georgtown är en liten pärla i norra Malaysia beläget på ön Penang.

Här kan man smaka på det mesta av olika kulturer.

På ”Harmony Street” hittar du moskeer, kristna kyrkor och kinesiska buddistiska tempel.

Malaysia has got a fantastic mix of chinese/malay/european/tai/indian culture in every way. You see it everywhere.

There are mosques/catholic churches and budhist temples. You find old Volvos new Toyotas old and new Land Rovers indian Tatas and so on.

Our lovely guide Winnie showed us many of the different sides of this fantastic little town called Georgotown.

As always I wished we could have stayed longer.

We should have had a few more days here to have a chance to do whaat we wanted to do. But that was not the case. What we did do was caves, hiking, homestay with a hill tribe, elephant riding, rafting and a visit to the tigers.
