A night in a ger

The New years celebration was to be held at a ger-camp outside if UB in Terelj national park. We entered our trusted bus and had a quick stop at a supermarket to fill up the supplies of snacks and beverages and some gifts for our hosts.
To journey on mongolian roads is something special. You get to be shaken and stirred over and over again, and that is on the sealed roads.
Anyway we entered the national park and drove on for another 20 minutes till we arrived at the camp. We got installed in the warm and cozy gers.
As I was feeling rather rotten with the flu-thing I missed out on the horseriding and most of the dinnerparty. All the others had a great time while I was asleep in my warm bed.
The next morning we headed back to UB and had a stop at the worlds second largest square. Back at the hotel I crawled into bed again trying to regain some strength.
